Students with an F-1 or J-1 Visa

Students with an F-1 or J-1 Visa should contact the Primary Designated
School Official (PDSO) / Responsible Officer (RO), Laura Dobson , with questions.

Students with an F-1 or J-1 Visa must:
  • -Obtain work authorization / a Social Security Number (SSN) before they can legally begin working.
  • -Maintain legal F-1 or J-1 status while engaging in on-campus employment to remain eligible.
  • -Be permitted to work up to 20 hours per week during the academic semesters.
